For the past 15 years, Wafaie Fawzi, HSPH professor of nutrition and epidemiology, has headed a collaboration in Tanzania that includes researchers at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and the Dar es Salaam City Council with an overarching goal: to improve the public health of people living in one of the world’s poorest countries.
